His Story, Our Story: What Ephesians 1 Says About Who You Already Are
Most of us spend a significant amount of energy trying to figure out our purpose. We chase promotions, relationships, experiences, and status — collecting a long list of whats while the why stays just out of reach. Author Stephen Covey had a phrase for the antidote to that kind of drift: begin with the end in mind. His idea was simple — before you take a single step, know where you’re going. In Ephesians 1, the apostle Paul does exactly that. Before he asks the church to change anything, before he gives a single instruction, he hands them the end God already has in mind: chosen, adopted, redeemed, forgiven, sealed, and destined to live for His glory.
